We are a classical violin and cello duo, active since 2010, professional musicians. Our unique programme is Vivaldi's Four Seasons arranged by us to be performed in concert.
We are available for concerts with various programmes for different types of events, such as weddings, private or corporate events.

In our career we have performed in concerts in venues such as teatro la fenice Venezia, KKL lucerne, Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, as well as events in prestigious villas on Lake Como (villa Erba, villa Balbianello), villa castagnola Lugano, villa del lago d'Orta and for private events for Bulgari (hotel Bulgari Milano), Martini and others.

We are also available in trio and quartet formations.

Barbara Krüger, violin

She obtained her violin diploma at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan in 1998 and her postgraduate diploma at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in 2002. She has also participated in various masterclasses. She studied with S. Holm, M. Quarta, R. Koellman, M. Christians, I. Oistrakh. In the years 2000-2007 she was a member of the Orchestra Symphonica d’Italia under the direction of Lorin Maazel as second concertmaster of second violins.

She was second violin concertmaster in the Orchestra Cantelli, Orchestra dell’Accademia delle Operas. She has performed as soloist with Gli Archi della Scala and the Accademia delle Oper.e From 2010 to 2022 she is concertino of the first violins in the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana. She has collaborated regularly with the Orchestra Nazionale della Rai, Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, Orchestra Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice, Orchestra Toscanini.

She performs in various chamber ensembles in addition to the DuoJig.

 

Claudio Giacomazzi, cello

Graduated in 1989 from the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan under the guidance of Maestro Bernardin. In 1987 he came third at the International Competition “Young

cellists” in Biella. He collaborates as first cello with various Italian orchestras including Filarmonica della Scala, Orchestra de I Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano (first cello of the opera orchestra since 1997), Filarmonica di Torino, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana.

In 1989 he became a permanent member of the orchestra of the Angelicum in Milan, and from 1993 to 2007 he was first cello in the Chamber Orchestra MilanoClassica.

Since 2007 he has been first cello in the Orchestra Cantelli in Milan.

He performs an intense concert activity in Italy and abroad and has to his credit 29 record productions as soloist and first cello.

He is a member of the TrioGagliano and DuoJig.
